You have an opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest minds of the industry that participate on our forum. It’s an opportunity to network with like-minded people who have a passion for audio.
Since it is for SynAudCon Members only, our signal-to-noise ratio is very high!
You can participate in the forum in 3 ways. It’s your choice.
- Standard individual messages will be emailed to you.
- A digest of the previous day’s messages are sent to you in one email message.
- Login to the Forum interface on the SynAudCon website (strongly encouraged!)
The web interface now allows attachments and photos. It is also mobile-friendly.
SynAudCon Library
We have over 900 technical articles in our SynAudCon Library. The articles include intensive field studies, clever solutions to problems, and practical tips.
SynAudCon Members are the first to receive the new content.
SynAudCon Members may submit questions to be answered in our blog.
Room Surveys
The room impulse response (RIR) is the acoustic signature of a room.
We have an ongoing collection of RIRs from rooms around the world. Some of the rooms are typical, others are quite interesting, and a few are famous!
You may download the RIRs and import them into your acoustic measurement software. The files are in WAV format. You may also use the freeware GratisVolver™ to convolve the RIR with speech or music and have a listen.
