SynAudCon presented at AES Brazil

By Brenda Brown

Pat and I were very honored to be part of such a prestigious event in Brazil.

AES Brazil is the largest professional audio gathering in Latin America. The event had a considerable growth this year with the exhibits increasing from 53000 sq. ft in 2011 to 80000 sq. ft. Visitation was approximately 7000 during the three days of exhibit and four days of the Technical Program. The event was held at Yellow Pavillion, Expo Center Norte in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

We presented at AES 2011. We noticed a group of serious audio professionals who have a hunger and desire to learn as much about audio as possible. We recognized many faces from our class from AES 2011.

Kudos to the leaders at AES Brazil as they go the extra mile to bring great education to this event. The list of well-known presenters was extremely impressive.

The venue had a great feel for the exhibitors and the attendees. The tall ceilings and large open space enable the exhibitors to show their products and the attendees to view their products easily.

Once more they had an outside Line Array demo – an event that is rarely seen at a convention.

2013 AES Brazil will be in the same venue. The dates are May 7-9. Mark your calendars now.

Here’s an collection of images from the event.
