Since the introduction to GratisVolver™ in our last Newsletter, I have received lots of mail requesting a step-by-step description of how to extract the impulse response from the recorded sweep. Here goes – I used the Audacity™ wave editor since it is freeware (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/).

Both files are 48 kHz 16 bit. Right-click on link and “Save link as…”
