CLF News

The Common Loudspeaker File format (CLF) continues to gain acceptance and momentum within the audio industry. The CLF puts the specifications that CLF graph showing polar and balloon datasound system designers need at their fingertips in a common presentation format. In addition to the standard “spec sheet” information, useful parameters such as maximum RMS voltage and nominal, average, and minimum impedance are given. Additional information can be included in a PDF attachment that resides within the loudspeaker data file. Click here to download an example. Open the file in the CLFViewer and select “Show info file.” The PDF will open with a complex transfer function of the loudspeakers sensitivity and impedance.
